JOULUKUUN JA TAMMIKUUN JUMALANPALVELUKSET VAIN NETISSÄ!

Rovaniemi on siirtynyt taas koronaepidemiassa leviämisvaiheeseen. Sen johdosta häiriötilanteen johtoryhmä kielsi yli 20 hengen yleisötilaisuudet vuoden loppuun asti. Rajoituksilta välttyminen edellyttäisi tilaisuuksissa koronapassin käyttöönottoa.

Meille seurakuntana jäi kaksi vaihtoehtoa, joko pitää joulukuun jumalanpalvelukset vain netissä, tai vaatia Jumalanpalveluksiin osallistuvilta koronapassit.
Kävimme vanhimmistossa asiasta perusteellisen keskustelun. Kynnys siihen, että rukoushuoneen ovella tarkastaisimme tulijoilta rokotepassin, tuntui kovin korkealta. Tulimme siihen tulokseen, että tässä vaiheessa rokotepassia parempi vaihtoehto olisi pitää joulukuun jumalanpalvelukset netissä. Jos rajoitukset jatkuvat vuodenvaihteen jälkeen, niin joudumme arvioimaan tilanteen uudelleen.

Miten rajoitukset vaikuttavat seurakunnan muuhun toimintaan?
-Jumalanpalvelusten lisäksi keskiviikkoruokailut jäävät tauolle.
-Rukouskokoukset jatkuvat entiseen tapaan. Osallistujien määrä on sen verran pieni, että ne voidaan järjestää turvallisesti.
-Elevate -illat jatkuvat. Osallistujien enemmistö on alle 16 -vuotiaita, joita rajoitukset eivät koske.

Pahoittelemme, että joudumme luopumaan myös seurakunnan yhteisestä joulujuhlasta, mutta mitäpä jos kokontuisimme kodeissa pienemmillä joukoilla nauttimaan joulun tunnelmasta rupelipullien (=joulutorttu kreikan kielellä) ja glögin kera?
